9th February 2007 A new President and a Ball!!!!!

Firstly may I extend my thanks to my predecessor, James Blanch, for all his efforts getting OAT Alumni up and going. In many ways, his efforts and the website designed by Vincent have made taking on the role of Chairman so much easier. James steps down in order to give all his attention to his newborn son Chester. So Congratulations James and Kirsty and we wish you all the best. In order to keep the interest in OAT Alumni going, in addition to the website, we feel that it is important to organise a few events and also stage some charity dos. So on this note, we are asking for any volunteers who would like to be considered for a position on the Alumni Council who are prepared to put in some time and ideas, in order to move the society up onto a new level. Please get in contact with myself or Vincent to put yourselves forward. I will try to make regular updates on this site and keep you informed to what is going on. I really feel that OAT Alumni could be great. When I look back at my training, two years on, it was one of the happiest times of my life, and so with your support there is no reason why we cannot stretch that feeling out a bit, is there?

All the best,

Ollie Cain (AP 229), OAT Alumni Chairman.

15th August 2006: The Forum is open. Please register to have access to the threads. Once you have registered, please fill in as much detail as possible in your Profile. The main categories are Airlines, APP classes and Ground School (Modular) classes. They are not meant to exclude anyone to post to any category they want! The aims of the Forum are to allow people to get in touch so they can meet old friends, find out about other jobs, get advice, gossip, etc. You will see there are only a few classes listed (same for airlines). If you would like your class/airline to be added, please either send a Private Message to the Forum Admin or email Vincent (see end of this paragraph) To access the forum, please click here. Any problems, please email Vincent at webmaster@oatalumni.com.

4th August 2006: The forum is up! Not officially yet, but it seems to be working. We need to customise it a bit, but expect it to be open soon...

1st June 2006: We have a website! OAT Alumni is officially up at www.oatalumni.com. Next step: the forum.
